Join our team as a Junior Consultant or Research Assistant

We are seeking dedicated Junior Consultants and Research Assistants to join our team. You’ll work on influential projects for some of the largest Nordic companies, in close collaboration with our experienced consultants. If you are eager to tackle new challenges and develop your professional skills – we want to hear from you.

 

About us:

  • Spektra Analytics is a team of management consultants working within the IT industry.
  • The team consists of economists who employ a data-driven approach to provide strategic advisory for some of the largest Nordic companies.
  • Typical projects include advising clients in cost-out programs, software negotiations, sustainability and carbon emission projects, and mergers and acquisitions.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Analytical Independence: Conduct and structure sub-analyses, demonstrating initiative and thoroughness.
  • Problem Solving: Participate actively in problem-solving discussions with a curious and open mindset.
  • Client Interaction: Assist in the preparation of client material and participate in meetings where key findings and recommendations are presented.
  • Team Engagement: Actively contribute towards a positive working environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education (Junior Consultant): Typically in the first year of a master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a similar field. Previous experience in consulting, economic analysis or IT is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Education (Research Assistant): Typically in the first year of a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a similar field.
  • Language: Proficiency in both written and spoken Danish is required.
  • Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and an aptitude for managing a steep learning curve.
  • Characteristics: A strategic thinker with a team-oriented approach, committed to achieving strong results for our clients.

 

Position details:

  • Workload (Junior Consultant): Approx. 20-25h/week, with flexibility during exam periods.
  • Workload (Research Assistant): Approx. 15-20h/week, with flexibility during exam periods.

Research Assistant or Junior Consultant
If you’re applying for a Research Assistant or Junior Consultant role directly from university or while still in university, the process usually includes 2-3 rounds of interviews. This includes a case interview where we’ll assess your problem-solving ability and personal experience.

Consultant
If you’re an experienced professional we will talk you through the process for your specific role, and the process depends on your former experience.
